Lol, got the resizing done.
Yeah, same camera Same Shutter speed and exposure time 1/8second, lens aperture f/2.8 and iso speed at iso-800, flash disabled. The duallys have better focusing reflectors while the china led is spreading lights everywhere. Depending on where one intends to use his lights, the china lights is the winner when it comes to pitch dark roads without streetlamps. In urban setting where there are streetlamps and traffic, the scattered lights got washed out and doesnt seem to give anything more than those 10-12 watts led aux lights can give. This is where the duallys came to shine as its focused beam withstood from being overpowered by streetlamps and other vehicle's headlamps. |

Just thought I'd add to this thread. I fitted a set of these to my Multistrada;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1810735239...900%26_rdc%3D1 That I ran through a Fuzeblock switchable fuse panel and then through a Skeen IQ controller. I didn't use the dimmer or keyfob that cam with the set, I have another plan for them. Total cost, around £150 and I am super impressed with the results

I have seen quite a few people happy with these.
Anyone know anywhere in Europe to get them?

Are any LEDs with a warm color being used in driving lights yet?
I feel that blue-white is harsher to oncoming drivers as well as glares back at the rider in rain/mist scenarios.

I decided to give this a try http://www.aliexpress.com/item/16W-S...727350619.html
16W Spot LED WORK LIGHT LAMP 12V24V ATV BOAT JEEP Truck SUV 4WD ATV UTV,4X4W IP67 High Intensity CREE LEDS Fog Lamp Kit 10-30VDC In the last few years I tried different leds distributed through different vendors. After about a year they tend to fail at about 50% rate (installed on my 950, 640). At 40$ shipped it's really good deal. It took 3 weeks, it came via usps signature required. Looks really good, quality item and works just fine. Very similar to rigid leds.

Denali "micros" vs. Mondo's mm10's Bullets.
Trying to decide between the Twisted throttle Denali "micro's" and the Mondo motos mm10 Bullet's...beside amp draw and substantial price difference and the mm10's are CREE xm-l's.....it sounds like the mm10's is the way I may go?. Any user additions?.

2wire or 3wire?
Can anyone tell me why the Clearwater Krista lights have 3 wires when every other Aux LED light I've seen has only 2? I do know multicolor LEDs have 3 wires for two separate color diodes but that's clearly not the case here.
Is one a ground; one from the dimmer; one for full power? I'm asking because during an exploratory tear-down of my '07 990 Adv I found the PO had a very clean installation of a set of CW Krista's complete with horn and Hi-beam actuation (the lights were gone when I bought the bike). For some reason he cut & taped the leads to the lights, leaving everything else installed including the on/off switch and the dimmer control. I'd like to make use of the controls & electronics with less expensive lights, but If I can't use a different brand than I'll get the CW's. Any thoughts? E Bay. They are sold from Hong Kong, take about a week to arrive and are under €100 for a kit. I've fitted them to my MTS and am delighted with them, excellent quality and light output.

The third wire is for their proprietary rotary dimmer. Unfortunately this dimmer has no presets, so if you want to change the lights to a specific brightness you need to turn the knob to a pre-determined angle every time.
I found this not only to be inconvenient but potentially dangerous as it is an unnecessary distraction from riding. If you want to use less expensive lights and put a dimmer on them, then you will need a different dimmer. Our IQ-170/175 dimmers have three programmable presets, plus a high-beam override, and work with pretty much all aftermarket LEDs. Quote:

I agree: a rotary dimmer is overkill; presets make more sense. Too bad the dimmer doesn't have notched positions. |

I can vouch for the IQ 170, cracking bit of kit.
