Well just another small update. I'm heading to the auction for the outfit to see what happens to it and also to see if I can buy back the chair from who ever purchases the bike.

G'day Paul I got seriously out bid at the auction. It ended up going to some online bidder. So I don't know where it has gone, I only hope it gone to someone who will bring it back to it former glory.

Shame about that.
That's the problem with auctions these days, people seem to get a rush of blood and pay way more than stuff is worth. The reason I was looking in Manheim's was in search of a repairable write off to use as a tug. Don't like my chances though, everything seems to go for way more than I can afford

ouch, i could feel your pain in the pictures you posted of the collision...all your work undone by a flying bimbo. so glad you are ok, bikes can be replaced and repaired. By the sounds of it this thread may turn into a new exciting one. You are what makes this adv community so great, get back up on the saddle and im looking forward to your new project?!

Last June I bought the Ural outfit that now parks next to my Super10. I've had so much fun with the Ural since then, that today I went googling for Super10 sidecars. This thread came right up. I'm a very irregular visitor here so I hadn't seen it yet, and I rarely post, but I have to say, Brendan, I love your Super10 hack and I'm very sorry to hear of its sad fate! I look forward to seeing what you do next!
