Nice read acidman. I have sent letters to my congress critters and submitted public comments... not sure anyone is though.

Went out to Knolls today. Snow is deepest I have ever seen it out there. Some sand was peeking through, but very little. Bowls had drifted in and it was 18"-24". Made for some interesting crashes and riding technique.

Probably not worth the drive out there for a few more weeks at least. Oh well, we tried.

Thanks. Unfortunately nothing is smooth when you have to have things approved by the DOD

thanks Acidman for posting that link to the sagebrush coalition.

indeed, Lynn Jackson put together a very informative and concise rebuttal to the pro monument arguments. i'm much more informed now.

Thumb Rhino...

Well the 690 survived Dutchmans with only a few new scrapes on the skid plate, but it wasn't easy. I am one sore, wore out dude today.

It was great seeing Fano, Commander51 and meeting Kanook and the rest!!

I think Kanook summed up Dutchmans best when he said "Why would you put that in a desert race"? Couldn't agree more...

Glad it survived.

I can't believe they sent the novice down it. That's just mean.

Thinking about a ride April 7th,8th,9th down to Moab, Monument Valley, Lake Powell area and back... A weekend of camping and debauchery. Any takers? Though I had better bring it up now so the working stiffs can get the time off if needed.
