There's a drop-down menu at the bottom of every page where you can change skins on the fly. I use Fresh on the phone, because it's bright and easy to read and ADV2.0 on the PC and tablet.
I just learned something ! Changed my phone to Fresh. Makes a huge difference. Thanks for the info !

When I choose ADV 2, addblock hides the reply and new post buttons!

You can fix that by going into your adblock settings and adding advrider to your trusted sites list.

Hahaha, I rolled out ADVrider 2.0 on our 10-year anniversary and heard mostly bad and people switching back to the old style. Plus new user registrations dropped 20%, I guess because it was harder to read.

So I switched it back for an experiment to see what happens.

I like the way it was before the switch today. I'll still come back, great forum and all..but I don't have to like it

Thumb All is not lost

I thought my eyes were going on me or my computer was messing with my (feeble) mind (think Hal in 2001). Then I thought of checking in "Ask Baldy...". Learned something new today, skins choices. I prefer (need) higher contrast so it was nice to discover I could get that back by going to ADV 2.0 . White background with black text is high contrast too, but I find the black background SO much less fatigueing (sp?).

Reverting to the Crash forum skin also solves issues that some inmates were having with missing site buttons:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=860317

As mentioned above, we have 6 forum skins to choose from, just go to the bottom of the page and select the one you want from the drop down menu..

On my desk top at work, I use the FRESH skin, it's ADV in stealth mode..

Is there any way to default our computers to the 2.0 version? I miss the icon showing that I've posted in a thread. If there is a way to add that to the crash skin I'd find it way more better.
