There's a reason, I reckon, why we don't see too many of them 'cept for cargo bikes. The benefits of the tadpole arrangement are lost on an upright design unless one of two things are achieved...1) the center of gravity is down low. or 2) the whole bike is designed to lean like a normal bike. Most bakfiet-style cargo bikes have so much mass that they make sense as a tadpole. The Onya cycles bike I showed above is also designed with a leaning steering linkage. Most recumbent tadpoles have the rider's weight nearly at axle height. Those are situations when a tadpole arrangement really excels. But in the case where you have fixed geometry, and an upright position...it doesn't hold that much benefit over a traditional trike arrangement.

The silver one with the red guards for the superfly, I really like this forks is just a shame they are out of production.

Agreed... Although theres a fair bit of sexyness to a MTB Frame converted to road use as well...
