Thanks for the responses guys, I'll check out those parks mentioned. Does anyone know of any good dirt roads around Mid-Missouri though? All I can find is gravel!
I went riding this afternoon on my R1150R, and my buddy was on his new Iron 883 (first bike). We rode from Columbia to Jeff City, then took HWY 100 to Hermann where a guy at a gas station with some stretched out chopper asked my buddy if he enjoyed his "moped over there" while pointing to my buddy's Sportster. I thought that was an pretty terrible way to be treated on his first ever "big" ride. We then went and got some burgers and a beer before taking HWY 94 back to Jeff City, and then 63 back to Columbia. It was a pretty nice day (for February at least) and a lot of bikes were out there, maybe we saw some of you guys out there.

I can think about it but I can't make it be. I am settling for installing a power socket on the fender of my bike. If I can find my step drill bit. and move the Jeep out of the way, and Chris's bike out of the way, and the Canoe out of the way,.. I need more than a one car garage.

I ordered springs to redo both ends of my Vstrom 2 1/2 weeks ago and I havnt got them yet.
I emailed the store and then he says he had to order them from the factory. I dont know why he didnt tell me that when I ordered or I would have went straight to factory myself and ordered them. But from the reading I'v done, should make my bike handle alot better,I hope so! At least its a good time to have it apart while the weather is bad.

We lost power Monday, got power back Friday am. Right now I'm going outside to try and get the snow off the roof. Riding is out of the question right now. I DONT LIKE SNOW.

I think it is time for the snow to go away. It forces me to tinker and when I start tinkering that is when things go wrong...
I didn't realize you could snap off a screw extractor in a screw that you were trying to remove. ![]() Thanks goodness for files and visegrips.

snapped extractor
Had this happen a couple of times. The last time, on my wr250r passenger peg, a fellow inmate tacked on a bolt with his mig and out they came. Great reason to own a mig.
