The Yak Mini is nearly done. Either the ESC or the RX they shipped me are bad so I'm awaiting the replacements. Should be flying by Friday. It weighs nothing...

How squirrelly is that GeeBee?
I don't think I could see it, if it got more than 50 feet away. |

GeeBee flies very very stable.. It's a "point it that way and it goes that way" plane. .I like it a lot. Fun to do full speed inverted passes two feet off the tarmac.

I'd like to see someone fly that GB with no gyros and no computer cross coupling. Just manually, you know like the real GB pilots had too.

I had one that we flew with nothing more than expo in my Super 7 radio. Not terrible to fly. This was probably in 95 or so.

My Hangar 9 Corsair is ready for its first hop, but the rain and wind will make me wait until at least tomorrow.
![]() ![]() Gear up & going, I think it'll look sharp!

Looks good. I built a Corsair foamie back before foamies were a big deal. We painted them with latex house paint as it wouldn't eat the foam. They were used for combat and seldom lasted more than a few flights before the snow came down. It's so much easier to get flying with a good looking model today than it was just a few years ago!
BTW, the 3 bladed prop looks scale, but a 2 blade is much more efficient.

It has gyros - but they're not to fly the plane, they're to help with wind.. It weighs 2.5oz so it would get tossed around on everything but the calmest days. It doesn't even come close to flying the plane for you. Doesn't change the aerodynamics, it's simply a dampening system so it flies as if it's bigger. ^^F4U looks nice! Good luck and get some vids I like the look of the Traxxas quad. How's it fly?

It flies pretty well, actually. It automatically self-levels, which I'm not use to. It's quick!
It comes RTF only. Tx is 2.4 cheapie but has two modes, normal and expert. Rates are adjustable and are 0-60% on normal and 0-100% on expert. Comes with extra set of rotors, two batteries, USB charger which can charge both batteries at once, Tx, and Tx AAAs. I just need some nano FPV gear

Ugh, I've got a Lipo problem. I just got a Turnigy 7.5v 2000mah (received it today!) and it seems it has a loose ground wire. I can tell which one it is. I've emailed the seller and so I'm still waiting. As a Plan B, would I be able to fix it? I'm gonna guess it's either a loose or broken connection at the end of the cell. Would it be as simple as just cutting the heat-shrink back and solder the wires back to the cell?

You know everything I fly I do manually...just feel cheating letting the computer do it.
