Well, your're aware that I'm solo on a loaded Super Tenere, right? So "pushing" it out wasn't an option, unless I got Juanita herself to help!

She didn't seem to mind, and besides, the S10 burns so much cleaner than those other bikes

Actually I don't think he was. The legal fight he was in was worth $10m+ so I think that was incentive enough...

I know the guy he was up against quite well...

This shouldn't make a Rats ass difference to me BUT, It's not about if "She didn't seem to mind" It's courtesy & respect not to run your engine while going through her house. Go out onto the square & ask for help pushing it out.

You're right, it shouldn't.

We "motored" in and out. Lo siento mucho. I'll take it up with Juanita.

Sure thing! You are absolutely right, SR.
And you know, strip mining prevents forest fires, too.

When I first got there, Juanita INVITED me to ride through the house, so I didn't think to do any different when leaving, especially when it's tougher getting out than getting in.

I really don't think she cares about the temporary inconvenience of some fumes in the house, it's not like there's bike traffic going through constantly... I think she's just happy for the income we bring. And it's a great place to stay, in part because of the secure parking in her courtyard. Obviously she knows that's one of the things we like about it, which is why she added the ramp.

I love the smell of Dektol and acetic acid in the morning.

You are right. I had forgotten there was a business deal involved. Its sort of the same though. A business deal involving drugs or a business deal involving............ When there's a lot of money involved or even a little, some people can't be trusted.

Dearth of Ignorant Shit

Not nearly enough here, we need more so that this looks like Borderland Beat or one of the Newscorp Tabs... no worry about slander, libel or scurrilous gossip here... Baldy has a platoon of lawyers who work 24/7 to protect us. It is a bit like Disney where they have a whole building full of lawyer checking to see if anybody tells the joke about Minnie and Goofy.

Fumes

I farted in Juanitas place while digesting a plate of huevos rancheros.

The case against the bike fumes is dismissed

Juanita politely blamed it on the dog.

That's hilarious because I've actually done that (the blame it on the dog part)
