Hella makes them, 14W. OEM for BMW 63 17 7721320 and now it seems for KTM.
They are more Fog lights than anything else, the only thing I like is the lens which makes them on-road compatible I suppose.

Are looking to be seen or primarily to see?

The bolt holding the front fender (in front of the fork) is an easy spot to mount lights.

Yes it is.

Remove said bolt.

Measure the depth of hole from edge of hole to bottom. Or just get a toothpick and mark the depth onit

Go to the local hardware store and find a bushing that the bolt fits into but the outside is smalller than the fender hole. Choose the bushing length that is longer than the recessed fender hole is deep.

The base of the light mount will use the bushing as a mounting surface.

Lowe's has a great selection of nylon bushings in all kinds of interesting sizes.

Ace Hardware has some really nice chrome bushings, pricey, but you only need 2, they also have nylon. Be sure to pick up a couple of longer metric bolts while you're there, Ace has stainless bolts with socket cap or button heads.

OK .... this put me over the edge and I ordered! At $45 with "inmate" discount I could resist no longer. Hope to mount them up similar to the suggestion on that Burgman using Caliper bolt with a bushing and longer bolt on my GSA. Also opted for the amber or yellow lens guards only because I believe the amber lights are more noticable in the daytime.

Exactly ... the coupon code box in about step #3 in check out. You will see it and it worked fine for me. Just follow the check out steps on the site. Simple to use site too.
