resemblance

The way you ride not so much....
Maybe you have the right idea... ride hard, stay away from the hooligans and get some good rest then ride well some more....shower, rinse, repeat.
We young ones just may not be as smart as the older, more "mature" hooligans! hehe

Wow, this 'event' could get a respectable turn out. I plan to come, leaving the Hood River area Fri morning in my van. I will have a bike on a hitch carrier, but if there is anyone else in HR that wants to carpool, I can pull a trailer. Of if any of you adventure riders want to toss some creature comforts in my van, I can shuttle that out for you. But if you're thinking about that, you might as well just pull a Mort and motel it.

Traded in my sleeping bag for a Big Agnes down bag. The 15 degree rating of the other one was bullshit. The frame on my KLX will probably still be bent from my Mexican adventure so I will probably be riding my aprilia. It's not a dirtbike.

Sleep at home? That'll take most of the fun out of it....

I hope to ride in again. I also hope for better weather this year. It was a cold ride home last year. Not sure if I want to do a long crap weather ride again.
But good fun it was.

An Aprilia is not a dirt bike?

Well, we'll just throw you on the back of my bike for a change, Trev!

Also, I seem to remember a camping trip with av_mech that involved more dirt roads than pavement. And the Caponord. And a tire change in the local park made possible by the MotoGods.

I did some reconnaissance yesterday. There were lots of people fly fishing in the river. Water looked very low, so someone can camp on the flood plain again this year.
