Doc wants Cat scan and we have to wait for L & I to OK it. Xrays aren't showing him what he needs to see. He thinks that it looks pretty good for getting ran over by a truck. One for sure break which is two to four less than original diagnosis. He said to go ahead and put weight on it if and when I want and it will tell me what I can do. So.........
I dragged in my GoFasters box of sweetness and scattered it all over the living room. Wifey is pissed that I drug the box in, oh well.
I prolly should have waited for a few minutes, days, weeks longer to stress it as it hurts like hell today, duh.
See the original Doc tomorrow.
BBITWW = best boss in the whole world
I got a card today (my 2 yr anniversary w/company was last Friday) and lots of hugs. What a great thing to work for/with great people.
BBITWW is in AK at one of our stores there. Looking forward to her return as I've got several sympathy cards to play.

I hobbled out to the pasture so I could see Karen and horses and thought I wasn't going to get back.

Thanks. I want one of the knee rollers with trials tires on the back.
Careful with those knee rollers, I crashed about 4 times on the one I had in a short month and a half. Never fell with the crutches. Broke my ankle last June when my horse stepped on it. I think it was late September before I could ride again. Worse summer ever.

Hope you heal well.

You're harshing my buzz, mang.
Dr says OK to put some weight on it but stay on the crutches. Eight weeks or so..... Then he wanted to talk boats for 20 minutes.
So I got that going for me. Unless the CT scan shows something else, I be frickin' shining!

Hey Bung, when I get healed up and the snow melts, I'll show you around North Cascades if you show me GP.

Well Keith, I have a bit better appreciation for your pain after smashing my left foot between a root sticking out of the side of the trail and my footpeg yesterday. Luckily according to the first doctor, no breaks in there but I am waiting to see what I find out from the specialist once I get in to see him.

It sure sucks riding back to the rig! Luckily my riding buddies loaded up my bike on the hitch carrier while I tried to decide which hospital I wanted to wait at.

I sure hope you are feeling better. I am today!

I guess I will probably not be riding the D100 this year.

Hey, where does one sign up to reserve my own designated stump to run into and crunch my foot so I can be eligible for Team Crutch?

Get well guys. I only twisted my left ankle riding deep sand roads almost 1 year ago. Never been right since but fortunately only an annoyance. But with motocross stiff boots, shifting was still no problem.
