Hmm...(for-sale thread vanished)

My bike for sale ad was deleted ("Lot of 2 Apes (Aprilia Futura, Aprilia Falco)"). I don't think I broke any rules...what's up? Can somebody PM me to let me know what's going on?

You need to price each bike individually or FM mods will delete your ad.

Really? Not to be a hard-ass about it, but there is no mention of that in the rules. Is there a reason for that rule? I'm trying to make the transaction easier on myself - I'm just not seeing the downside. I guess I don't understand what I'm missing. Sorry if it's obvious!

The rules state that you need to price what you're selling. The price rule is to aid in transparency, so it's clear to all what each item is being sold for.. We don't allow "make me an offer".

You're selling 2 bikes, chances are you will find it easier to sell them individually than to sell both of them to one person. If you're getting PM's about the price of each bike, the price should be listed in your ad. If you are firm that the price is for both bikes and you will not sell them separately, put that in there too. If you have any further questions, PM one of the FM mods. (Don't PM me, I'm not mod in the FM).

Got it - that makes a lot of sense. I'll reach out to AngryScot to see if I can get my thread back if I add in more information about pricing/just say that it's strictly a package deal. I appreciate your help, thank you!
