Frank and Mary - Very Well Seasoned Riders in Newfoundland

Just saw a nice story on CBC's Land and Sea (Canadian East Coast local interest show) about an older couple of riders. How old? Watch and see. Video is on the shows website and I don't know how to embed it, sorry.

As they say over there (so I've heard) "Long May Their Big Jib Draw!"

Ride on.

Maybe it's true that one's never too old to have a happy childhood.

My wife asked what I would do when I couldn't ride anymore. "Die" was my first thought but I knew that wasn't the kind of answer to promote marital harmony so I gave her the alternate answer, "I hope it never comes to that." Frank gives me hope and I also think that the mental processes that one exercises while riding will help to keep us all sharp and active.

Wow! Amazing!
Has anyone figured out how to download and save that video?
I'd love to have it to watch offline.

No idea how to download it from the website, but I did record it on Sunday when it was on and I can convert it to avi format. I'd have to figure out how to upload it to a torrent site.

If interested, there's another good show about classic cars in a small outport village. http://www.cbc.ca/landandseanl/2012/...f-the-bay.html

He's an inspiration to all motorcycle riders.

He started riding when most people think about quitting.
