Ceramic Coat 1 Piece Exhaust?

So I've got a 1970 CL350 with its unique 2>2 exhaust, and the left cylinder muffler is detachable while the right isn't. Luckily the left is the only one rusted, and I've found new replacements.

But, I'm wanting to keep it from happening again, and I'd really like to keep these mufflers. Anybody know if you can ceramic coat something like this, all the way through? I haven't looked to check, but I hear they're double-walled, so maybe a problem there, but I'm not sure.

Now, I could always chop the other exhaust to be removable as well, but can the mufflers be coated? I'll include a picture or two of typical CL exhausts for those who aren't familiar (not mine):

You know, a lot of them rust internally at first from moisture accumulating inside.I don't think the ceramic coating would help for that in the long run.

How they ceramic coat is just sprayed on, then baked and if you wish thrown in the polisher for the shiny look.

a shop can handle depends on the size of the polisher, and large single
pieces are cheaper to have done than multiple pieces. They do coat
the inside of pipes, (like the inside of car headers) and any muffler can
be coated on the outside, no problem. But,
since mufflers are complex inside, there no way to coat them internally.

So I'm thinking with the weird mufflers they use, unavailability of the right (upper) one, and the fact that they may just rust out again, I'm gonna try a collector and a Supertrapp.

Question is, is it bad to have the collector near the end of the exhaust? I've seen some scramblers with it pretty close to the end, but is there any great loss to that or can I compensate with discs and jetting? I'd like to just chop them right before the mufflers and do it there.
