Instead of putting the bike under you in the corner, put yourself under the bike (slide over a bit on the seat and move your shoulder forward and down so it leads into the corner). Plus, put the balls of your feet on the pegs. Then you'll have greater tire angle to work with, and less scraping of parts.

Nice picture. I would love to see BMW do a variant like this along side a more traditional R model when the liquid cooled R bike comes out.
