Don't think so...
Just doesn't look right to me, feet in the wrong position to start...scale of bomb bay to jumper is a little off...wrong angle of jumper in relation to aircraft direction and wind flow...

LOL!
Few shots from last weekend. Collings foundation B25, B17, and B24 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() random cobra at a VFW I rode past ![]() Now this is something a bit special. This is sam, sam is a WWII vet, flew in B24s over europe and is a tail gunner ace! Quite a story teller and generally nice guy. He is pointing to his name in honor position on the tail of witchcraft. His crew eventually was shot down and had to land on an island off sweden/germany somewhere. They argued over his crew and finally were given over to the swedes and spent the rest of the war in an internment camp. ![]()

Typhoon Display Workup
Visited RAF Coningsby UK on Tuesday to watch the Typhoon go through its display for the 2013 season, impressive and noisy!
Here's one example, view the rest on my flickr site by clicking the link and using the "Older" tab to work back through the set, thanks for looking (Keep going past the hangar shots there's more!) http://www.flickr.com/photos/6508137...ream/lightbox/ ![]() Typhoon Display by BMrider2012, on Flickr |

Funny story is that he was shooting away at a bf109 that was trying to make a rocket pass on them. It finally got a rocket off that he tried to shoot, but missed. It went past his plane and blew up under the aircraft in front and down it went. One of the crew that was shot down from that plane is at the museum I work at. His name is Joe Reus and his a hellova guy too. Small small small world!

Like Marie Lou often said while bringing coffee and cookies at altitude "your'e only a pilot until we land" and I recall my first reply "Yeah... and then we turn into animals, What room are you in?"

I was on base at NAF El Centro over the weekend. One more trip next weekend for the airshow, and I'm done out there for a few months.
![]() ![]() ![]() We got some Harrier and Apache action as well. I'll post those up once I'm done with the PP. S.C. |
