I've been drinking the crap out of Lugene since it came out. Really damn good beer. Anyone in here get a chance to try this year's Pliny the Younger?

Blargh!

I had the Enjoy by April 1st IPA off draft at the Hoppy Monk yesterday. It was pretty good, less of a bitter punch in the mouth as some IPAs tend to be, and more of a fruity freshness.

Chimay Bleu. One of only seven beers that are allowed to call themselves "Trappist"

90m ....
I've been after the local liquor stores to get the 120m for months, they keep promising it and it never seems to show up. I'm about to haul my ass down to Delaware and go get the shit, its only 45 minutes and a $5 troll. I had a mixture of Shock Top Belgian White, Dogfish 60m and ......um, oh yeah, Blue Moon Short Straw (which was actually surprisingly good). |

Last week we were on vacation in Roatan, Honduras, so I spent the week drinking Salva Vida (kind of reminded me of PBR) which was the only local macro brew I could stand, along with Imperial. The other common beers were Barena, which tasted like Grain Belt Premium, which I dislike, and Port Royal, which may be the single worst beer I've ever had.
Now that I'm home, I've been drinking a homebrew Irish Red I have on tap that's just sort of okay, as well as a couple of homebrew stouts I left in the fridge. I'm about ready to try some of my first attempt at brewing a chocolate stout - we'll see how that goes. |

Cheap Mexican beer this weekend to go with quesadillas tonight and fish tacos last night. So it had to be Tecate in cans.
