I typically don't find other people's misfortune or accidents funny, but I couldn't help laughing at that picture and commentary.

At least you didn't have to call a friend for a ride home.

My mother-in-law did that with her self propelled front rotary blade lawnmower. It was a pretty stout antique unit, with a 5 hp motor. The next time it got away from her, it was headed down the street. Since she's 82 years old, I'm sure it was quite a sight watching her try to catch it.

She sold it a short time later and hired a gardener...

Advanced pancreatic cancer found 04/2010. Have outlived +/- 97% of patients with this diagnosis, but 08/2013 cancer now in liver, vascular system and lungs with 20+ lung tumors. Sick/weak sometimes, not riding much. No more treatments & now under Hospice care.
