I'm thinking of tagging Cinnamon and Engineer, then up and over Hurricane, California, and Corkscrew. Depending on time (and if it's dry...) maybe down and tagging Red Mountain, Black Bear (up and back)and Ophir for 8 passes in a day. Overachievers can then run up and do Molas and Coal Bank, flipping back by Lime Creek road for 10. A day with an objective!

I don't know... maybe ride up to Orvis and soak for a while.

You should be able to do that easily in 3-4 hours with a small group and minimal fall-downs.

Certainly 10 passes in 5 hours should be a reachable goal.

Wow I have the itch to ride sooooo bad. Spent the weekend tearing into the Pig, checking bearings and valve clearances, new plug, etc.....is running like a top and wants to be ridden!!!!

Today only brought the fever on to a higher degree with blue skies and 50 degree temps. By Thursday, here in Colorado Springs, it is supposed to be pushing 70 degrees!!!!!

I think we need to schedule a new RMAR event down here in AZ during the winter months ?

this coming weekend it's supposed to be nearly 70 degrees,......riding weather....Gotta clear the cob-webs off the bike and get out and ride...

MAN That was fun, especially the Modette Mystery Ride. That was truly and adventure.....gotta do that one again.

I'm working on the video from last year as a promotional for this year's ride....

I'll have it posted up in this thread to help promote this years ride...

If anybody is interested I would be happy to take some folks (even the AZ Gang

) on a single track ride on the Rio Grande Side of Stony Pass - Pole Creek, Lost Creek, even Miner's Creek between Creede and Spring Creek Pass if you want to travel a little further.

While the pace certainly wouldn't have to be rushed, some sections of these trails can be considered fairly difficult, I know it has been done but I wouldn't want to take my KLR on any of these other than the main Lost Creek ATV trail, which is a pretty cool ride by itself. This would be a perfect opportunity to see some great trail if you have a smaller bike, or, if you want to try it on a bigger bike I'll have a camera
