Hall Pass... working on it.
You're productuve. So far today I've gotten about a third of the way through mounting my first aid box and am in the early stages of my skid plate design. Losing a lot of time playing with my four year old.

Luckily for me he has all of my social graces and great coordination. I don't think I have to worry too much about an over-indulgence in team sports.

Hopefully today I can at least get the mock-up done on my skid plate. Kinda annoying how Kawasaki let the engine protrude under the frame rails.

Thanks for that. You were on my list... you saved me a job. Typing with one hand plus a finger sucks

I hope we can get together for a ride sometime. Whether it's in my backyard or yours...

Fortunately my Husaberg suffered a lot less than I did... and the fact that I have a Rekluse meant I could pick it up and rick back to the group after my fall.

sorry folks for being gone in the last 2 days. glad to see people are chiming in, giving good advice, posting pics, sharing, etc

just got home, did the barstow via mojave river/trail to avi casino (colorado river) and back. though i was concerned that if get hurt, it could mess up the dvnr. no option, have to do this ride, if i don't, will have to wait till this coming fall. also, warmer weather is about here in socal (riding in the desert in a hot day is not my favorite). plus the rain last thusday and friday made the trail condition favorable. i had seen more sand in 2 days of riding than the total sand riding in the last 5 years. thanks to jimmy lewis for the sand riding lesson (from previous class) and from all the PPs who provide encouragement.

so..... like ixab said....no more crashing from hereon.....

FYI Mojave Road is usually good until mid to late April. If you hit it right the desert is in bloom and it's quite beautiful. I plan to do it on the bike one day in the not too distant future, I've only Jeeped it.

And what do you plan to do with your dogs when you go off riding? We've had issues in the past of abandoned doggies at camp.

If you are bringing the dogs then they have to be supervised while at camp (These are the rules per the resort). Even though it is march it can still get to be too hot for them to a point where it can put them in harms way.

Last year a dog was left in a tent while the owner was on a ride that went far too long due to unforeseen circumstances. I took the dog out of the tent and cared for it till the rider got back, it had no water left etc.

Dangerous for the dog.

Please don't bring them unless you or someone else will be there to care for them while you are off riding.

Right on, yeah I was looking forward to meeting you, two of the four or five Bergs' won't be making it out it seems.
I hope Larry can find a partner for his Long Ride, if I wasn't already leading a ride I would join him, did the same loop when at DV DAze based out of FC this year and it's a good, fun ride.

Heal up quickly and no more crashing, or at least falling in the incorrect way.

Maybe we'll meet at WARPED?......

SPRING AHEAD sure is nice, glad we will all have some more sunlight in the day to enjoy the area!

A couple photos of places folks on my rides will be going.
