I found both of the roads and I think that if I had a wider picture to the right that those would have been in the frame or close. About 12 air miles with the Idaho Centennial trail between them.
It looks like if you were coming from Superior on the main rd you could turn right onto the roads you guessed. If so you turned off too soon Very close.

Close enough! You are up!
Rd 320 comes from Red Ives and intersects with Rd 715 and somewhere between there and Black Canyon Rd 250 it turns into Rd 720 . Also known as Fly Hill Rd Under about 10 feet of snow that road is calling to me. Thanks to mvzeke, 650x and others for making me explore via google earth to find cool places to ride. Not this one , I have been there just want to go back.

for the last 3 years my kids summer job has been maintaining trails for the forrest service (3 yr contract) they worked on just over 100 miles from the Lochsa to the St Joe with some small side trails thrown in. Beautiful country. A great job for a teenage boy and girl. No internet, no phone, no computer, no vidoe games, camping for 2 months. I think the last trail section they did was off the Fly hill road down to the river.
