over those shoes too. They have a 4-bolt sole option. ![]() Otherwise, use the shims provided with the cleats to make the base of the cleat level. ...like on every other shoe. M

I have a few pairs myself. From motorcycle ( Vortice Air, Crossfire SRS ) to Mtn / Road bike ( Dragon 3 & Ergo ). I love the way they fit me. I haven't tried Bonts or Specialized. I'll have to try them at my local shop to see how they fit.

Here's my mtb. Had it for about 7 years and beat the crap out of it at least once a week. Destroyed both wheels, a couple carriers, and have gone though gearsets and chains. I do about a 20-30 mile loop from north austin to, and around town lake staying off the main streets. I'm thinking of a road bike but it seems to me I'll get a better workout on this. Clip-ons took some getting used to but worth their weight in gold.

It's hard to believe how quickly Specialized change-up their shoes. Good thing, I'm not a shoe whore. That color speaks to me.

not a problem; i've been using Sidis with Speedplays for years.
i wouldn't have any problem with the white shoes since they should be cooler in the sunny conditions i like to ride in. (i've got several pair of Sidi cycling shoes, and the black ones are hotter; was actually looking for white when i bought my last pair, but settled for silver/grey). white's also great for conspicuity because our feet are almost always moving, but that hi-viz color should also do a pretty good job. (too bad it's only on the front of the shoes,..) be sure to try on the pair you're going to buy; not only because you're likely to have them last forever, but the 3 pair i have fit best in 3 different sizes (and my Sidi moto boots were another). Just for bike geeks, take a look at the Pinion gearbox

I've been toying with the idea of building a new rear wheel with an internally-geared hub for my errand bike. The derailleur has been working fine, but I haven't built a wheel in a while and would enjoy the project, and it'd be something new to play with. |
