My bike at Fort Pike;

This is one of the best preserved Civil War Forts in the area;





The park ranger on duty told me that they are going to have to put a giant strap around the fort to keep the walls from collapsing in from the constant wave action subsiding the foundation . You can see in the first pic that the walls are starting to break loose.

I'll try to go back and get some better pics, I didn't realize the lighting was so off.
