I've used Swanson Welding in Springdale. Stellar fabrication and welding. My fender support/cross member on my rear subframe was shattered and mostly missing. they fabricated a new one from scratch and welded it in place for $70

Just some information for those interested. Motorcycle Superstore offers a military discount of 10% off all orders with a CAC card (controlled access card). Just use the contact link for MSS and place the the order number of your MSS purchase in the body of the email and include an attachment (picture) of the CAC front and back. 10% off will be applied.

For what it is worth.

Buy good riding gear! I hit a logging chain at 30-40 mph Friday. The fender slung the chain over my handle bars taking out my GPS mount and one double take mirror, ripping me from the bike only to sink rocks into my helmet! My Scorpion jacket/pants with kevlar and full pads saved me. I am sore today, more sore than Friday and Saturday. Nothing is broken and I lost no hide! Every dime I spent, on the formally thought to be too expensive gear, earned ten fold ....easy. Ride on fellow ADV'ers and watch out for logging chains while partially blinded by the sun. Damm, I felt like a Pro Quarter back being slamed that way!
