94 to 06 style chain guide, but without the alloy outer. Superior to the later version.

Keeping stuff out so it won't break/snap off the sprocket.

Dual sport and dirt bike chains have a good amount of slack in them. The guide makes sure the chain stays on the sprocket.

No bike will pass scrutineering without one.
