I rode to work today

5 layers on top 3 on the bottom...wasn't too bad.

I drove today, only because I have to wash the funk out of my helmet before I put my head back in there.
3 days of riding with no shower took its toll.

Glad you are ok Kris. Maybe you should keep a smear of honey on your upper lip as an emergency blood sugar booster

. All kidding aside, my Father was a diabetic, and low sugar episodes were scary. Hope you are back up to full speed.

Daughter had her first race yesterday. She came in 6th out of 8. We were very proud of her for just doing it. She fell in the practice lap. Travis daughter came up and said she fell but got right back on and is doing good. There was a pretty good size mud/water hole. She made it through every time.

Say one of Docs boys out there as well. I see Doc post about clean bikes and that the owner needs to get some dirt on them. Well he sure would have been proud of his boys bike. It was muddy.

Wife took this picture right after she finished. You can see the smile under the helmet. She cant wait to get to the next race.

+1, layering while riding is the suck, not to mention dangerous as it restricts your movement. Heated vest is one of the best investments in motorcycle riding.

I didn't go, but I get to watch! Coy came home with the vid he took as he raced..some pretty exciting acting..lottsa deep mud holes!

It was a nice 3.5 hr drive. Lots of driving for a 30 min race. but well worth it. Need to get my little boy a small 50cc dirt bike now. He might be racing his 4 wheeler next weekend in Norfok
