well, the word has gotten out, the Panel truck now has a barn buddie to hang out with for a while. Doing some work on the red one, new wiper system, wiring harness, and a disc brake conversion......... and a zillion other things probably down the road....

I swear, I really AM a Ford guy..........

Who puts cheap-looking, wire wheels on a classic Corvette?

Bought one of those, a '59 with same color combo, about 15 years ago. Probably one of the nicest looking cars ever. And as good looking as it was, that's how horrible it was to drive. You wandered down the road, sawing the wheel side to side to keep it in a straight line. High speed turns were white knuckle, those beautiful wide whitewall bias ply tires were terrible, same for the brakes.

Sold it after 2 years and bought a '67, which was an absolutely wonderful car, for the same price. Four wheel independent suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes. Should have kept that one.

Wondering where you were able to pick up the rubber seal / boot that goes over the release fork on the bellhousing. You have a picture of it on page 2 in the #18 post. My dad is redoing a 56 GMC pickup and is searching everywhere for the seal / boot with no luck. Any help is appreciated.

Your panel truck looks great!!!

Love the 'no rust' with lots of photo's that show otherwise.
