We were just up that way saturday,we stayed mostly below 4000' but snow is melting fast with the high temps.
Howard had 5' at one point in early winter.
I tried a Trials tire Tubliss on my 200 with 5psi,unstoppable.

Actually he got a pretty good start, top 5 start isn't bad. And he did make the best of it.

Yeah he stuck tight on the inside and zapped right through guys.

Man! Hes hitting the rev limiter about 20 times per lap and at full pin right below it much of the time,on a 55+hp 450.............
That's GOT to be exciting!

To clarify, he DIDN'T get up, he was carted off. He did come back a year later however.

Alessi gets a lot of shit around here, most of it earned and deserved, but you can't watch something like that and not be impressed by a guys fortitude to come back.


And then you see the old video of the young Alessi and you remember why he deserves some of the disrespect he gets.
