i see that Topo Portugal Ciclonatur v5 was released in January.... i am getting it unlocked for garmin units... ill post when its working and then people can PM for details....

I googled Portugal Topo version 5 and found this, if its any use, the Map ID at least might be useful.

on the subject of transport any of the Dutch/Belgian people expect to have a spare space in a van? i dont fancy 2 or 3 days on the motorway each way, maybe a met up somewhere in france ? if not ill just slog it out.

Regarding Topo Maps of Portugal I have managed to get TopoLusitania working which I found here.

It took a bit of trial and error but I now have it installed in Basecamp and can copy it onto Micro SDcards to use in any Montana.

I have viewed a few previous tracklogs on it and most trails seem to be displayed so I would be interested as to what you think of Topo Portugal Ciclonatur v5.

I wonder if these are any better then the build-in maps in the Montane (I have the topo europe version...)

Guys,

I'm not the most tech savvy regarding gps and related software but what almost all of us riders use (at least the ones I talk about it

) is Topolusitânia. Quite complete and accurate, it's very useful to plot tracks on basecamp or such and to use on any gps device. It's updated very often so it's good to keep track of latest developments.
