You lost yourself there Mike. No diff in temp for my dual sport tires (50/50 or more street oriented). Huge diff in knobbie vs the more street oriented dual sports.

I need to get to the Holmes County Fairgrounds to pre-run a gravel road race course for the Amish Country Roubiax. Rumor told, the follow cars on the layout got stuck and had to be drug out backwards. Some of the roads are narrow and washed out with ruts. 2 guys ended up with 5 flats using cross tires.

I have no idea what to expect.
Sounds like fun. Got a date for when you're headed down?

I am almost always up for a ride. I may be able to be a follow car too depending on the date. Let me know.

From what I understand, you better bring something with ground clearance

So tell me KTM, when are you going to do this to the 690????

However, I may have to go to India to get one.

I have nearly a foot under the differentials on the 4Runner. That plus the lockers and I would hope I would be ok. It does suck putting the bikes on top of a truck lifted 5 inches though.

So you want the 390 Adv? or the 1190 you posted a picture of?

I was about to ask that. Just think of it as 3 390s taped together.

That's the only pic they had, and of course, I want both.

390 to replace the 640 for dual sports, put a rekluse in it for TGorman and the 1190 so the 950 can be retired from road duty and retire to the dirt.

Its quite interesting that the pictures illustrating 390 variants are both of 1190 machines which are in a completely different categories than the 390 will target. Even better one of the comments says the pictures are of the 390 machines.

I will be interesting to see which 390 variants end up in the US. KTM has slimed down the selection in the US recently. The only street machines listed for 2013 are the Adventure Baja, SMT, 690R, Duke and RC8. No Super Duke and no supermoto.

Many of you might not know but like the Super Duke, SMT, SE and Adventure, they all use the same platform so now that they have the 390, they will probably do the same thing by using different suspensions, sub-frames, etc.

Other rumors include an all new 450 Rally is being developed and Kurt Caselli has been named to the Rally Team

I believe the new rally bike will be adding fuel injection as the main upgrade.

Thought this Benelli looks good.

Jon & others...

Thought about doing that millersburg loop this Saturday afternoon if anyone is interested, I may do a pedal workout prior.

Jon, the race promoter should have a sag wagon lined up, usually a F250 dually or a suburban.

Also, I have accumulated a couple hundred more points for laying out my inner state gravel highway system which means you who want to do a second run, get together and come up with a date.
