They are an amateurish way to get people who buy beer into a building. Witness the beginning of this season. Borderline professional wrestling.

"Canada's contribution to the world" They must be bursting with national pride to have you attribute that to them. A hockey brawl will probably end up on the $5 bill.

Canada seems to have brought their hockey prowess to the baseball diamond too. They apparently don't give a squat about some Ameri-weenies and what they think. ~~~~~Glorious and free~~~~~~

I never got that line since it's supposed to be a translation of Et ta valeur, de foi trempée.

People actually get KILLED in motorsports. Must be more of the lowest scum in the barrel of humanity that think motorsports are cool.

By the way, I didn't hear anyone suggesting that brain damage was cool.

If I remember correctly, didn't the Pronger brothers fight each other a time or two?

Some sad displays lately - there is a rule that you can't remove your own helmet before a fight, so two guys gently tipped each other's lids off at the start of the fight.

http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2...ting-loophole/

The only death ever in an NHL game was at the end of a fight when a guy fell and hit his head, sans helmet, decades ago.

If all you can find to cheer for in a game with such skill and finesse is the sideshow staged fighting, perhaps you should find another sport to watch.
