I just bought a 1993 CBR1000F.

23,300 miles.

Nexxus pipes, s/s headers, wing-rack for luggage.

I actually prefer the 1995/96 colour scheme (black/grey/yellow), but couldn't pass this up.

Yes, it is.

Someone asked if the bike has risers, but afaik that's the stock position.

Here is a very brief summary of my affair with the CBR platform...

First it was a new red 2006 600RR

Then that bike became silver

Then I sold that one and bought a new black 2007 600RR

Which I had for exactly 4 years, 36,000 miles, raced it, was absolutely in love with it, and it eventually became this:

Unfortunately, I had to sell it in 2011, before I embarked on a 16 month, solo bicycle tour of the entire USA.

Got home a few months ago, and last Saturday I went down to LA to buy this 2008 600RR, with 620 miles on it:

I rode it home 8 days ago, and immediately tore it down to the motor+frame, and have been meticulously rebuilding it to my standards. I will finish the rebuild tomorrow.
