Off-season has been really interesting this year. Is every year like this, and I've just forgotten? Or is this free agency period unusually chaotic?

Welker's agents overrated his worth, and when they realized that they weren't going to get the big money, it was too late. Pats owner/team stayed within their guidelines. I wish they could have kept him one more year, but We'll see how Amendola does. I think the Pats are done talking about it.

Well, they were operating under prior assumptions, not the new modelling in the NFL. At least he got paid, Elvis has plenty of reason to be hot. I liked Kraft's answer. Tom Brady is an important part of this team, but I don't answer to him. (I'm the boss around here you mindless media twits.)

I think more than a few free agents overshot their worth and didn't get what they were asking for. These days when you have a really good quarterback you gotta pay major money and then find a way to pay the rest of the team with guys expecting top dollar.

There's some teams spending big bucks to make a run for the Superbowl but its teams like the patriots that usually are the ones that get close.

There's no down-side to the 9ers pick up a pro-bowl kicker.

One of my favorite LBs of all time. When he was in his prime, he was a madman.

Wow, Long did well with the Rams for a guy with that injury history. Fisher could be sneaking up those West coast boys.
