Date Change Alert!!! And fuel range update.
So we have Steve that hasn't backed out yet and Sam that will never commit.

And Bob won't go because he has a KTM. (Kan't Take Much).

Did I miss anyone? Where's Phil when you need him? At least he would say he was going until the weather turned nasty.

Bam! did not see that coming. Ed, I said I was on the fence and I like it there. To be honest I do not savior slabbing 50+ miles on my DRZ just to get to the start, that is why I asked about the KTM, but knowing your rides it will indeed be DRZ type of stuff; rock garden, mud slinging, snow banks and the sort. All Great stuff, except for the mud, but...............

BOB is not going because ? Humm

That said, did you ever mention the rendezvous point in Nyssa?

You may continue...

I was actually thinking of riding back down to NW Utah to explore in the middle of next week (weather permitting) so that's my main reason for lack of commitment You never know I might suprise you and show up , but on Moya.... I'll just take bypass roads if need be.

Why ride the DRZ that far? Throw it in your pickup and unload it at my place in New Plymouth. Then it's only 18 miles of slab.

The meeting place is the Shell station right after the only stop light in town.

....... Ummm, didn't think of that. it's an option. So, road is going to be tough. I suppose one of those very thin red line kinda roads.

There shouldn't be any tough roads. Everything from high speed gravel to easy two track.

Well Hell! if that's the case, I can ride Moya then. I've not ridden it since last August... well a short ride out to the Military range and back just to see how it's running after the valve job.

So if that's the case I might just be there.

I don't hate the DRZ, it's served me well. I beat the crap out of it for a week in DV three weeks ago and it in turn reciprocated in-kind to me. What it is, is I don't enjoy riding it down long stretches of pavement. it's made for dirt gravel and rocks and likes it... it's light enough and pretty dang maneuverable.. it'll do pavement too,

DV, lot's of this stuff

and a bunch of the time I was too busy rock stepping to take any pictures through this place

So no I don't hate the DRZ

So, what you getting at? BTW I assume you got the carb cleaned up on the DR.

OK, on the DRZ I have a total range of just at 200 miles with my spare gas can; is that enough? Not much better on the 990 either.

Glad to see you didn't do any of this while you were in DV (watch at 5:00 minutes)

I think I'll get a room at Crystal Crane and take the 450.

Ya, me too. I literally shouted at my computer screen, "Oh ****!" when I watched that. Can't BELIEVE he walked away from that one.
