Timely, I'm making one today and was going to have to figure out the dimensions! Bolt circles are always a PITA to transfer accurately. Thanks.

It has a square-drive screw through it. For one of my Hondas I put a square-drive machine screw through a 2" bit of hacksaw blade (teeth filed off) and locktited thoroughly. Makes a very small and light wrench for those square valve adjusters.

I see mine is a combination square/phillips/slotted machine screw. It was on hand and I must not have wanted to go to the hardware store. BDXMPLs is better.

I did the same thing, only used a piece of a broom stick instead of the cork. Allowed for a good amount of tension so the screw won't turn when tightening the valve adjuster.

In my case I took the bolt circle diameter from the drawing and used a rotary table to mark and drill the bolt holes. I can verify the dimensions on the drawing are accurate. Good luck!

Yeah, unfortunately, no rotary table. I used my old copy of Machinery's Handbook, calculation and dividers. It came out right on the money, even with my old eyes! Used a cast iron disc tapped for a 12mm x 1.0 center bolt and it did the job, but I had to use a little heat and a good whack with a brass hammer. Made a separate three-hole holder for torquing the nut, which I did at lunch today (had to use the shop's torque wrench as mine doesn't go that high).

Thanks again for the file, funny I have Joerg's webpage bookmarked, but never saw that, you saved me some time and work.

I used some Gorilla Glue on the threads, that shit ain't moving.

I'm stupid and still don't get it. Is this cork or broomstick knob used to hold the adjuster screw while tightening the lock nut?
