Just a few pics to show some progress, I think I reached the maximum of what my pipebender can do:

The Junak tub on the frame, just for show, including the fender (still to be restored):

From the back:

And in close-up, I'm quite proud of the bending work, it's the first time I'm using this machine and it works out very well in my opinion.

The strang yellow/brownish stuff on the fender is mud from one of the last rides I did with the previous set-up.

Looks good! But I warn you, benders are dangerous, because they're addictive. "That was fun! Let's see, what do I want to build next...?$?$?"

After driving a good 700km (450mls) last weekend I can truly say that this project is a success. It handles very well, has got plenty of lean-freedom and the power is adequate. The frame is a bit flexible in the vertical direction but this is not of any influence on the handling.
I can fling the bike around on a narrow twisty road so hard that experienced fixed sidecar riders have trouble following me.
Up till 140km/h (90mls/h) it is very neutral handling, top speed is around 170km/h (105mls/h). I'm quite certain that I can do a knee down in a long sweeping corner to the left. I'll try to find a good location and opportunity to film this.

Some pictures of last weekend:

Wow! That turned out really nice.

I would love to put one of these on my little 250 so I could take my dog on adventures with me.

After a couple K with leaner I'm loving it, but it doesn't mean the fixed car want be seeing miles too, as it is more fun for running gravel roads at high speed.

Why did I not do this sooner.

I'm planning to make an extra strut so I can convert it into an fixed hack for when it is very slippery, dirty or icy. This shouldn't be very hard to do since I've got a few top-end-bearings lying around.

I must confess that I've never ridden a fixed hack so I really can't compare a leaner to anything else than a solo bike.
