620 LC4 adventure 1997 Fuel Line

Can anyone describe how those fuel tap (3 unit) are connected. Further how its controlled. Im using 28 liters fuel tank.



1st Left Petcock 2nd Right Petcock
(ON/OFF/RES) (Thumb ON/OFF) only

TANK 28 litres
Feul Pump
3rd just Below rider Petcock
(ON/OFF/RES)


CABURATORS (DellOrtho)

Missplaced thread, should be on THUMPERS.

Yet, the RH fuel petcock connects to the LH by a hose passing in front of the engine.

The 2nd exit on the LH petcock connects to the fuel pump.

how about the 3rd petcock ON/Off/RES at RH just below the rider??....this is the highest reserve fuel contained in the 28 liter tank.

OK.......let's make a few things clear first.........on all vehicles, left and right are as you sit on/in the vehicle.
So, for a 640 Adventure......the upper L/H and R/H thumb screw lines are joined with the fuel line running behind the engine.

The L/H On/Off/Reserve goes to the fuel pump.

Correct, but not for all years...

1998-2001 there was only two petcocks, L/H on-off-res and R/H on-off.
Line from R/H on-off connect to t-connector between pump and L/H on-off-res.

Transfer/balancing line from possible rear tanks?
