Thanks Gumme! That is awesome.

I have a friend who basically has all the stuff from say late 60's through the early 90's. Full Colnogo funny bike full Campy. And a Campy 50th anny groupo to boot. I think that is on his Colnago America. Full set of Campy tools too. And the cork screw.

Of course.

This month's "Bicycling" has an excellent article on "The Passion of the Velodrome". It's worth a read.

I've said it before - and my wife is well aware of my dream but if I were to come into a significant amount of money, the lottery for example, I'd build a velodrome and establish a program that would benefit both locals and visitors.

A velodrom in Phoenix would be a wok in the summer.
But, a cool idea. The little bit I got to play on the training center track was very cool.

The Baltimore Bike Party was last night. Always an interesting time. This month's theme was 'Superheroes & Supervillains'.

Of course, there's always that guy...

Some interesting people

And interesting bikes.

The best part was when they got lost. 1500 cyclists lost in Federal Hill in Baltimore.

Today's shenannigans:

I hadn't ridden since Monday and have fighting a bit of a cold. I felt it. I had intended to ride all of May's century route, but didn't have enough left to attempt the final loop and its extra 2000' of climbing.

Next weekend is a road trip up to Medford for The Rouge Flahute.

Electric bikes, anyone?

Hi everyone,
I'm initially here on ADV due to my Suzuki DR350SE thumper, but I thought there might be some interest in the two electric bicycles that I have built from scratch in the last year or so.

Hopefully two photos will appear here:

I've also written detailed accounts of both builds on these two webpages:

http://goo.gl/e1uGP

Let me know what you think!
