No cars

Yellowstone opened for non motorized travel only on the plowed roads yesterday, fity miles of asphalt and no cars, a few shaggy brown bison, bald eagles, bluebirds, and just for Gumee, no idiots. My ass will be sore today, not enought ime in the saddle over winter.

I'd probably have to stop at about 10mi myself!

Yellowstone is up there altitude-wise!

I *may* be living at 100' ASL

About 400 ft ASL here in east Texas. I struggle for about 3 days whenever I go to the mountains, which is about how long it takes your body to start increase haemoglobin levels

Elevation starts at just under 6700' here at the West Gate, then goes up along the Madison River gradually towards 7000' Still lots of snow, but just beautiful. Here's a facebook link for some photos from Monday evening. Ignor the fat old 62 year old guy, he's slow. Laurie is pretty fast, MT State Time Trail Champ last year for Cat something.

Do you Aussies still have lead paint? You've got to stop eating paint chips.

More likely the horse meat coming in from Europe... mad horse disease? Older houses still have lead paint.. and asbestos too.

Unfortunate in one part of Oztrailia they are looking at letting shooters into National Parks ... the rangers are after flack jackets... may not be a good idea to ride a bicycle through a National Park here then.

Humm... Must get started on making the bananna chips today.

they let shooters into parks in Victoria

us parks are so far ahead of ours in management its not funny

nothing like being brought up in a asbestos and lead paint house

oh and dildron( not sure of spelling ) sprayed everywhere for termites

the chemicals I've absorbed at work

would probably fill up the periodic table

lol

cheers
