Jimmex. Very jealous. Love the area.

Not sure what catches my eye first, the mousy hot chick or the MV Agusta in the backgraound.

SOG,
The only new ground this trip has been the route East off of 57 to Los Lirios and some ugly terraceria outside of Mier y Nriega. I just turned around on the latter part because it was 40 miles of 2nd gear banging around and went to Real 14. It was a good decision as I had a blast watching the Final Four with a local guy and got to practice Spanish. The route through Los Lirios was very nice but since it hasnt rained here in awhile the pavement was slippery. I hit a grapefruit sized rock on the NL 2 route from 85 to Rayones and damaged my tire and rim some. Been standing up on pegs until my legs turn to rubber then repeat; its a good workout and fun too. The cobblestones into R 14 are rougher than I remember, or it is just me.

Ask Jimmex when he was forced to have a huge bowl of Menudo in Cuatro Ciengas he really liked it !
Menudo is more North thing. Something, I can do ! Don't know about Pozole

If anybody here wants to give Bato a gift ., this is what he would like

I am getting old. I immediately saw the MV.

Who wants to make the first joke about which one requires the highest maintenance?

Taliban in Mexico!

Right out of the pages of La Alarma!

The Taliban are now operating in Mexico.

Yesterday, they tried to get us with a very, very clever trap. Diabolical and ingenious to say the least.

First, they entice you into one of the absolute best routes you will find in Mexico. Drawing you ever deeper into an area from another century, a lost zone, so far off the map a Guia Roji error almost makes sense. Almost.

You can put this ride up against anything and it will hold its own. You'll get dry, real dry, tank and body on this one and therein lies the trap.

They lull you into a false sense of security by presenting you with the opportunity to visit a Pemex that has premium (many don't these days in the rural areas, be advised), then present you with a direct route through a bustling little place and then, when you are really cottonmouth dry, they dangle this in front of you. Promising you "A different place"...

The welcome mat is out and resistance is near futile.

You might not be so lucky. We were...this time.

We quietly and quickly left the premises when the Mystery Rider noticed the strippers were wearing burqas. He is a devil for details and notices things like that. I was busy watching how the bartender could open beers with one hand, the other one was missing.

Never trust the Roji as they have been infiltrated, too!

I tried to return it yesterday. The guy said "Imagine how much you'l save in food...now fkuk off!"

It may have had a more Spanish ring to it, but that was the gist. He also said something about not listening to advice from MikeMike unless it's related to motorcycle suspension or fuel pump regulators.

Starting my shitty little Copper Canyon ride report here:
http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=876877

I'll post an out-of-order vid in this thread. Tell me which one you want- my roadside tire repairs, Basaseachic Falls, riding highlights of the 'new route' from Bato to Urique, the big river crossing at Guapalaina, or leaving Juantias through her house.

Mike, where the hell is that at! If it's near the northern side of Veracruz I need to track it down just to brag that I've been drinking there.
