Laugh HAVING A BLAST setting up the Tilton Trials for May 4&5!

I couldn't possibly be happier that I bought "Baby G", my GasGas 80cc. We've had a GREAT winter together and I've learned volumes.

This is a fun photo of me goofing around in the section known as Giant Squid (the tree to my right looks like a squid) -- riding up and over this stump that is currently labeled for SPORTSMAN!!!

Yes, I rode her over this stump twice; this shot is the 3rd time, I missed the line by a bit and ended up hung up on the skidplate ... turn t my advantage = PHOTO OP!

Amcross, that looks like great fun! (great picture)

Callie has been learning spades on her Gas Gas 125 much like yourself. My daughter riding her Beta 80 is also learning a lot and getting quite into riding with the family.

Keep up the great progress and having tones of fun!

GREAT, Jonny! So glad Callie and your girl are both learning so much. I've enjoyed the video cilps of both.

Thanks, guys! It's a BIGGG change from the girl who would simply never be able to wheelie that was as recently as October 2012 .... ;)

Riding near Kimberley BC

A buddy and I went riding in an off road area near Kimberley BC over the weekend. Did some technical single track that the trials bikes are perfect for. Here are some artsy fartsy shots.

They bikes ran perfectly and worked so well in the varied, and muddy terrain, rocks, trees roots off camber uphills around fallen logs...what fun.

I started to rebuild my forks, but hit a roadblock. The one bushing is completely shot and they are no longer available from Gas Gas.

Anybody know where I can get a 39mmx36mmx20mm bushing?

Learned a few things today.

Bike runs better if it has gas in it. Running around the back yard wondering why it was running bad and getting worse. Put what was left of the gas can in it (half a gallon) and had room for more. Runs a lot better now.
Gloves are a good thing to be wearing when you stick your finger in the cooling fan.
The strange rattle in the front is the spring rattling around inside the fork tube.
Unsecurred logs will still roll out from under you. But if you expect them to roll it isn't so bad.
Rebuilt knee feels fine, I forget I am wearing knee braces.
What I have set up in the back yard can be run many different ways to alter the degree of difficulity, and needs to be re-arranged again as it is getting too predictable again. I need a small tractor with a front end loader

Now to keep praticing, ride up in Prescott is in less than 2 weeks!
Dark now, time for a

Find out what brand fork it is and look
For other bikes with the same make and size forks. Just yesterday I found the upper fork bushing for my 4rt is the same as a Harley sportster.

Tried that. It is a Paoili USD fork, not used anymore by anybody. Not many bikes had 36mm Paoili USD forks. Mostly European trials bikes of the same era.
