Here's an unfortunate photo of my lovely steed. Stinking fork seal was leaking. Seems like i need some additional tools to get the inner and outer tubes separated. Doggone it. I am going to miss some good weather if i don't get this back together soon.

Looks like it took some energy to support the Wee.

I believe the tool is to hold the damper inside whilst unscrewing for the bottom. You may be able to tale out the bottom fastener with the fork cap on and the spring compressed. Just be sure to loosen the top cap before removing fro the triple clamp.

It was a good day for a ride.

Stopped by the training grounds and did a few figure eights.

Ah shit. Probably too late to suggest just cleaning the seals with a seal mate. Works a whole shot load percent of times.

So I bought my Vee new in August of 2009, lately I had been thinking of selling it to purchase a GS1150 I have been lusting for. So I went out the other morning to clean the bike all up and take pictures for the ads. While I was polishing her up a bit I was looking at all the memories that I had scratched and wore into the old girl over the last 3 seasons and 30,000+miles. I reluctantly took the pics and posted the ads...once I had posted the ads I started to have second thoughts. After 2 days I pulled the ads and decided I am not done making memories on this bike..

I've disappointed a few buyers with my V-Strom for sale ads in the past. lol

Once I sold it for money towards a down payment for a new place. My wife bought it back a few months later tired of listening to me talk about how much i missed it.
