Can anyone recommend a ladder for my 2012 E350? The cheap ass one I got off amazon that is supposed to fit isn't even close. I mean, not even clooooooose. Once hooked over the top of the door, the bottom mounting brackets are about six inches away from the door. It was only 50 bucks, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but I still feel ripped off.

I love the Tradesmans. Had one for a while that ran great. About 23 years ago I knew a guy that had a nice custom Tradesman with a 440 6-pack and 4:56 gears. 'Twas awesome.

Charles Bukowski makes a cameo appearance in that movie during the wet teeshirt scene, weird.

In the link, there's a pic of the yard's tow truck with the phone number on the door. The original post is a month old, BTW.

    Good luck,
    Chris

Just back from a trip to southern Utah. The road in was a muddy mess, but we made it. Longest trip we've done with the camper, but the 7.3 pulled it amazingly well.

Badazz campsite. Looks like a good home base for some offroading.

Well, there is no stability control for one, in most vans pre 2006 I think.

In my opinion though is more that people are not used to the way these vans handle and they drive them like they would a regular car, add to this shitty brakes, overcompensating etc and we got ourselves a little mess.
When you add 14 passengers things change a little, especially with those vans with seats on one side, but I wonder if people actually realize that. It's more driver error than anything, but it's much easier to kill the vans than teach someone how to drive.

I remember that, although I think they were doing some other sport. Don't know if it was that case or another, but it was winter and no winter tires on the van.

What wheel spacers you have on it?

+1 on pulling, it's so effortless. Stopping though makes me think that upgrading to 17 wheels is worth while- keep waiting in the hopes that I'll be able to do a 4x4 conversion.

No wheel spacers, but that's on the list. These wheels have no offset, iirc, so they do stick out a bit. They are 17 inch wheels.

There's a whole other story with the brakes. My rear brake line burst just before coming down from the south rim of the Black Canyon. :eek1 Luckily, our trailer has great brakes, because that's the only thing that stopped us going into Montrose, and to the Ford dealership. All fixed now. :D
