Highlights in the area, Guanella Pass, one of the best IMHO in CO, some dirt on S end but good dirt.

Guenella:

Set a day too eat at Ritas, in Guffy, great friendly little place, with great food. The roads running east of there toward Cripple creek nice too.

Hmmm. Sunday may be a possibility for me. I will have to see if the stars line up.

They're good for the Vulcan salute though, and keeping your hands dry and surprisingly warm what with all that air gap in there. My first pair started to delaminate & they sent another, good stuff from those guys.

See you guys soon;

Nice video, the scenery is so beautiful out there that I could get distracted and not see that next hairpin turn in the road! Guanella Pass and Rita's in Guffy added to the to do list

Training wheels are off...

Well, I passed my NY Class M road test on this crappy, wet, and cold spring day in the Finger Lakes... Glad that's over, and I am once again free to ride...

It had been several years since I had been there on a bike, had traveled in auto a few times, but for roads, better stuff in PA for twisty roads, the roads. Most roads out there are BIG sweeping turns, with great views. Guenella was more technical, but still not overly so.

Personally I wouldn't make a special trip out there to ride, unless I had additional reasons to go. But if you have never been, it is fun to say you did it.

The views are primary, the roads secondary.

FT500. Sweet.

I need one of those, or a GB500, or a VT500.

Yep, going primarily for the scenery/sightseeing, to visit a friend who lives in Alma, and to ride. I have not been there before.

Anytime I see a pie rider excursion into PA I'll do my best to attend. Last year I did a two day jaunt around Lock Haven and saw a bear in Leonard Harrison park :-)
