Cool2 AJS Tribute Tracker

The big day arrived.
Our once a year motorcycle show in Anchorage Alaska.
I entered my street tracker in the Dual Sport class.

Here is my bike between a BMW 800 and a Triumph Tiger...

I was VERY surprised when I arrived to see the trophy in front of my bike!

First place even

Unfortunately the billet oil cooler didn't arrive in time so I installed the old one after painting it. It should arrive soon and then I will put it on and the bike is finished. Well, until I want to change something that is.

Now I can look forward to riding it... if it ever stops snowing!

We got another 18" last weekend and they predict a few more this week.

Here is the bike on the trailer at work ready to go to the show:

I am glad the judges liked it

Flug, what would be involved with getting a poster of a picture like that? Would there be copyright issues? Is there a file out there with enough resolution to support a decent enlargement?

If you're in the Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin area there will be a AMA District 16/Classic flat track co-sanctioed half mile at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn Wisconsin. The event will include a $1000 pro purse and many national number experts are expected. Last year Henry Wiles and the Springsteen/Werner Kawasaki team were in attendence among others.
The races start at 1 PM and the event includes a swap meet. Sunday MAY 5 is the date.
Last year was the first time motorcycles raced at this track in 22 years and it was a real treat to see them return. Back in the '70's, Elkhorn was one of the most popular tracks in the greater Chicago/Milwaukee area. It's the only real cushion track in the area and was quite popular with riders and spectators alike. It was my second favorite track...Only Santa Fe Speedway stood above it for me.
If you're able to check the races out...You won't be disappoited!
The bikes that will be in the Classic classes will be just as cool as all the photos in this thread....Cooler actually because they'll be actually there and IN action!

Finished bike. I'm still trying to perfect the jetting, but she's done.
