I've not heard of anyone who fried any wires running a 10 amp.

I did run a heavy duty wire with a BMW style plug direct off the battery for charging
and to run an inflater.

All this can be done in the rain? or does DC not have issues with water like AC?

The voltage is so low that water does not cause a problem. Besides, aside from the coils, the whole bike runs on 12v. The only problem with all of these is corrosion so make sure you use some silicon or similar.

Sidestand Switch Bypass

Does anyone know how to bypass the sidestand switch? After 76k miles, mine is getting a bit wonky (throwing error code 19). The problem is intermittent.

Thanks,

Chris

Not sure about this bike, but all of my other bikes you just short the two wires going to the switch together.

I would say he's earned that IBA number. I thought I was doing good racking up 12k in 10 months.

Wouldn't you be a pot?

Anyway it happens. Big force meets big mass and something has to give.

Woody will still have some work for the foreseeable future.
