Here's something I've been meaning to do for a while, now. Some of you have already managed to track me down, whether through my full name in the newspaper clippings or just straight up asking me, but I thought I might as well include a link here to my facebook page.

http://www.facebook.com/TheFilthyNomad

Don't act surprised.

So, yeah. There's not much going on now, but I generally keep it more up to date when I'm on the road and what-have-you. I promise not to post every time I go to the gym, do my laundry, or watch a good movie. You won't see any pictures of my cat, a rainy day, or scantly clad women on the beach (bummer), but it's a quick and easy way to get ahold of me if that is what you're after.

The helmet fitting issue, now I'm gonna add to that,I may have to jump into Facebook now,if my KLR hero does it I may have to also, but I'm still on the fence.

P.S. Alex, I think your countershaft seal is leaking a bit, or Janis

It's the anticipation, she just can't take it all in. And I can relate, I'm leaking, too.

Thumb OK this is theee first time I've bumped a thread....

But I'm bumping this donation plan again...
Word is TFN "Parepin" is back out in the West (ar Rust's)... fondling Janis just as this is being typed!
Figured I'd try to get him some more Mooola for gear and a freshen up job on his engine. I believe an Inmate has given him another powerplant (condition unknown) to play with.
The total so far from you Rootbeer Run Saints has reached $600- And I gotta thank ya all...
Peace,
JJ

(NOTE: The kid would never ask for a penny and sooo... some of us have decided to sing on the street corner -so to speak- for him) He can't turn down a gift.. that would be rude dude!

Rust and DaFoole as well as others via PM, have been in cohorts with me (pressuring me with threats of bodily/mental harm if I don't get something posted up... as they'd like to chip in!!!

Sooo here it is........ We have already got him a new IMS tank and a new lid to protect his... Bean? You know that thing he seems to use every once n' a while to put the camera up to and report on his adventures. I'm working with a manufacturer now (KLIM) to get him some new riding gear at a discount, also.

So I spose if ya wanna... contribute to the cause, feel good about yourself , help a kid out, keep the energy flowing ooor just offload some of that extra $$$$ that's is Nooo doubt weighing you down.
You can PM me for a PayPal addy and we'll put it in the Jar. I'll post up where it's all going and keep everyone up to speed on the sitchiation. We were gonna have Janis's engine freshened up for him while he was healing from surgery, buuut ran outta time, (thought of it too late) as he seems to be ready to ride again and the time frame/window wasn't going to line up.

Thanx for... anything!
Peace,
JIm

Ahhhhh!

Janis and one very happy pilot have left the garage just now. (wow, lot's of room now). He will travel with my trustworthy friend "walker" who, trust me will either crash him,get him arrested or convert him to something!!
They got about 60 miles slab and 60 miles dirt with very nice scenery
to enjoy, and a couple lakes cause it's 90+ right now. BIG smiles coming
from Alex today and also from me!!! Thanks all. What else????????

That was my stunt double you saw,I am way better looking and
ripped than that old gray haired skinny mofo.
Probably will meet ya in person if the Alex grand plan goes thru.
P.S. Folks, he must be having fun on the ride cause we "kinda"
thought we might see him today but not yet. His destination with
my buddy Walker was to a beautiful lake (apache lake) to work on,
party on,puke on,supervise on, some old houseboat that they are
rebuilding, remodeling etc.,sounds like TFN's cup of tea. Plus
I'll bet it's close to 100 today and I am jealous. Have a great day.
