I nearly bought another 606, It came down to price.... I needed some other stuff. (I told the wifey the tire would be 100 bucks)

If this tire doesn't deliver, I'll do my best to wear it out and buy a D606. It worked really well on just about everything, although once it got worn down past halfway it really showed, wheelie attempts result in spinning out on dirt. Not enough Knob.

WE can't have that!

The Rekluse auto clutch is like the cheapest 6pd you can buy! Even with 15/45 gearing, I was riding tight, steep single track yesterday with no issues at all.

Anyone do the math on rpms at highway speed on stock gearing lately? I have a klr now, thinking about dropping the gearing back to 14-48 on the pig. Can't remember how buzzy it was, but I know I bought the 15 front for a reason. I wish this bike had another gear or something.[

Jules,
14/48 on mine pulls around 145KM's on the Vapor
Have checked against the GPS and its pretyy well spot on.
Have not paid much attention to the RPM at 100 kms but it didnt seem all that buzzy.
15/48 runs around 160KM's and definately relaxed at 100

Sounds expensive.

Seriously though, a rekluse isn't in the budget right now unfortunately. I'll just drop it back to a 14/48 I think and run with it, just stay off the highway as much as possible.

I try not to ride highway anyways, just seems like that never works out for me. Getting to my campsite/riding area is either 20 minutes of highway or an hour of back roads. Back roads are fun, but a lot of times I just have a few hours free time and want to mess around for a bit in the woods.

My XRR and I went riding in the woods this week. Lots of sand and whoops. Its geared a little tall for it right now but it did fine. I gotta admit I haven't ridden it much lately but I'm in love again!

(Is that pic as grainy as it looks on my phone?)

Way cheaper than a 6sp gearbox, but I hear you. If you ever get a chance to try one, you should. It is the best thing I've ever bought for a bike. I haven't ridden a dirt bike without one for 10 years now.

I put one in my BRP last summer too. I agree it is great for the single track, but I was thinking of taking it out because I don't really care for it on the highway.

It seams like i could get it adjust well for the slow tight stuff or for highway driving but had to keep adjusting depending on the riding. Then again, maybe I should replace the rest of my clutch and try the Rekluse with a fresh setup instead of an abused and worn clutch. Then maybe it will work well in all conditions without constant adjusting.

If it is an axle that you are looking for, seems the same as spindle, I have one or two laying around. I'll look into what it would cost send it to you in Ireland if you like.
By the way the CR/CRF axle is a different axle. I never found one that would work in it's place.

Adam
any luck with front axle?

I have been using the AC10 $74 for years now it lasts like the 606 but works better for me and is DOT. longer lasting look to d908$204 on sale, tkc 80 $100+, Heidenau K60 Scout $190 they all last but it costs. B

I've seen where a lot of people have said that. I still ride like I'm on a 2 stroke sometimes, I don't know if I'd like a rekluse. There's really no need to ride the pig like that, but if I see the right turn I still pin it and feather the clutch a bit.

Something about feeling a bike turn like that still gets me excited, even if I have to let off as soon as I go straight. It's like seeing a jump and having to hit it, even though there's a turn right past it that you'll be braking for. Hard to resist.

All typos and misspellings blamed on my phone.
