Fun, hard work and a nap

Had some fun in the sand this morning

and it got pretty soft and thick some times (note bike standing upright on it's own in both photos):

So eventually we got tired and took a little nap

Then on to some firmer territory

The end of the road, literally. That's the road ending in the swamp:

Going home:

no, he most likely has a woody kit. woody's retrofits aprilia caponord tubeless rims onto stock or aftermarket hubs. it is a nice setup, but the rim has an exposed edge that i know i would destroy in minutes. still, i would give a left nut for them.

Does anyone recognize this bike?

I am looking at potentially buying this bike as my entrance into the LC8 fold. The current owner is an inmate, but has only owned it for about a month. To be fair he is being very helpful with the service history of the bike, very thorough. I was hoping someone could give me some history of the bike that isn't kept in the service records. Current owner bought bike from TX. Should be fairly recognizable with the Jesse bags and such.

2004 950 Adventure S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! 34,000 current miles

Any input or advice is greatly appreciated.

I am looking forward to adding a 950 to my little KTM's

That was my bike! Almost brings a tear to my eye, I miss her. I bought it with 2500 miles in brand new condition and sold it to blocman with around 28,000 miles. I rode it mostly here in the Utah desert, to Mexico once and a few times to California/Oregon. I intended to keep it forever so was really picky about preventative maintenance, TSBs, etc. plus I just like working on bikes and like keeping them in tip top condition. Let me know if you have any other questions. I would buy it back in a heartbeat, only sold it to pay for college tuition .
