tips to enjoy the weekend?

We've just booked hotel and bought tickets. Other than wearing good hiking shoes and dressing for the weather, whats the best way to enjoy??

I wondered about carrying a little chair, is the food ok or bring in our own, is beer available or is it Ok to bring in a few cans? Are there vendors on site ( looking for boots) ? parking/ drive advice?

Thanks for any tips.

I would plan on taking care of yourself. Also buy your beer on friday or saturday as some places sunday sales are not allowed. I`d bring a cooler with food and beverages, if you find something else great. Just don`t show up empty handed.

I went in 06 and 08, the food venders didn't
have much selection they had beer but I didn't drink
because didn't want to hike out to piss all the time.
The terrain is rough I would wear good shoes or boot
alot of walking, I wouldn't take a chair because you will
be moving from section to section. At the end off the
day you will be tired and amazed that the riders can do
this for 7 hours or so each day.

I'll see you there!!!

was there the last time they had world round.....my 2 cents.

Hydrate a day before or two, can be hot n muggy, be prepared for possible rain( never know). Light is limited in may woods sections for great pics. Stake out close spot to the action in a section ahead of time if possible. the first lap will take for ever. sucessive laps not as much.

get there early ( daybefore) to watch some practice !
